Ashley Judd’s game day rituals sound familiar

In case you’ve been under a rock, the SEC Network debuts tomorrow night, and one of the first programs they’re going to air is “SEC Storied: The Stars Are Aligned.” It features Ashley Judd talking about her game day rituals, which sound oddly familiar. This part really hit home:

“Before the game, I am not social, I am not friendly. I have nothing but contempt for anyone who wants to talk about something other than basketball. This is not a social gathering, this is about basketball.”

Amen, sister. Ashley says she starts each game day by putting on her UK slippers, and syncs her TV up with Tom Leach and Mike Pratt’s radio call. Sadly, no word on if she also participates in the KSR live blog. I bet she’d love Seriously’s gifs.

See more on “SEC Storied: The Stars Are Aligned,” which debuts tomorrow night at 9 p.m. ET on the SEC Network. Don’t know what channel it is on your TV? Click here to find out.

Her and her liberal pals are helping to bring the poverty rate back up in coal country to 1960’s levels again. Thanks Ash. Good job. Tell Allison Grimes we said “Go Cats” and stuff! We’re all glad we get to watch all the games now because we’re all home unemployed from the mines. Thanks again.

For the love of God! Please everyone, realize there is no difference between Democrat and Republican. They have very little to do with our country or what is going on in the world. The names we know are the puppets. Whether you watch FOX news…(BTW in numerology FOX = 666), CNN or MSNBC, you are watching different sides of the same coin. Please stop falling for it. If you do not believe this please at least get your hands on “War is a Racket” and/or “The Creature from Jeckyll Island”. Once you digest what these books are saying, you will see the lie that is our political system. We are in fact an Oligarchy and have been for a long time. It does not matter who is elected. If you ran the world, would you allow the masses to elect someone you did not have absolute control over? Also there is no danger of terrorism. IF there were we would have 200 foot walls around our borders. This has not happened because there is no real threat outside of the hidden recesses of our own government. You must understand the truth of the Federal Reserve and then everything else falls into place. We cannot hate each other for believing different things about issues that in reality have nothing to do with the collapse of our liberties and economy. They distract us with these little issues to keep us distracted.

King, if you can go back to the 60’s and whine about coal and still doing the same now, you should have figured out by now what the problem has been. Ashley wasn’t born when the problem started around the 20’s or so and she is not causing it now – or her friends.

For the ones that don’t know – there have been several things that has happened to us/Kentucky coal. The main one being that our politicians have been…. all the things that can be done to them to make them sell out. Little pay off here, little extortion there, kill a few, us Kentuckians being independent(and not noticing what is going on around us – just don’t bother me).

IMO, then and still now, it is the KY politicians (doing their job(just like the rest of us/doing the best for their family – some have told me) and earning the most that they can).

Some politicians don’t look at their job as representing the people – they have a job just like any other – trying to make as much as they can – not unlike the proverbial used car salesman.

JMO. I started working in the family coal mine in the early 70’s, started with the gov in 9* and quit in 2000 – was getting too crooked again – as a government person – I couldn’t hang with what was going on. I have a pretty good ideal of what has gone on.

Right Wing Conservative wackos are like Louisville fans: delusional, loud, obnoxious, hateful, offensive and most importantly, annoying, jack-wagons who love the color red.

How do you sync the tv with the radio?

    • kgg
      11:54 pm August 13, 2014 Permalink

Not sure how she did that either. The radio broadcast is typically 3-5 seconds faster than the cable broadcast. Can’t pause a radio broadcast.

Of course you can pause a radio broadcast. That is if you have a Delay Radio. They cost about $50 and worth every penny. Try It will change your basketball life.

Scott County is building a new High School yet to be named. I thought it would be cool to name it after after Martha Layne Collins who brought Thousands of Jobs to Scott County & Central Kentucky.

I did a Google and found out a high school in Shelby County is already named after her. I wish Senator Mitch would help bring jobs to Kentucky, But it seems like he & his wife are too busy supporting Billionaire Mayor Bloomberg and pals. And he said “creating jobs is not my job”.

This is a basketball blog. Leave your damned politics out of it, you dumbasses! You want to know what is ruining this country? Politicians and the sheep that follow them – on BOTH sides.

As far as basketball is concerned, Ashley is one of us, and I respect that, no matter how she leans politically.
