Alex Poythress Has Some Explaining to Do
Alex Poythress was caught wearing a Tennessee shirt during Thursday night’s Tennessee/Appalachian State game. After some investigating, I figured out why.
Alex’s sister, Alexis Poythress, is in a relationship with Tennessee player Jalen Reeves-Maybin. Reeves-Maybin was ejected from Tennesee’s season opener in the first quarter for targeting during a punt.
Since it’s family, I guess you are forgiven Alex.

And it appears that Jalen Reeves Maybin is the son of Marques Maybin who played basketball at the University of Louisville…..
And, he is actually from Tennessee.
After 5 years at UK, the man can wear whatever shirt he wants to. He bleeds blue. That said, orange isn’t a good look on him
