A look inside UK’s Thanksgiving day volunteering at the Salvation Army

Before sitting down to eat turkey with their teammates and family at John Calipari’s house, the UK Basketball team served dinner to those in need at the Salvation Army. UK just released a video of the team volunteering, which includes a nice interview with sophomore Isaiah Briscoe about the experience.
“We get so many things as to where we are now and we’re so blessed, that it’s only right to help people less fortunate,” Briscoe said. “I enjoy doing things like this, making people’s days.”
Very cool stuff. Some more pictures from the visit, along with the full video:
We were so incredibly blessed to be able to serve food at the @salvationarmy yesterday. Giving back is what it’s all about. pic.twitter.com/Ue15COdKnD

Way cool Wildcats…thank you.
Granted, its a little disappointing Cal’s only won one title at UK….but he’s recruiting many fine young men while he’s been here. I have always thought he recruits character above talent most of the time. Kudos to these young cats.
