If we don’t start shooting free throws better it could be a long season.

If the genocide in Syria doesn’t end soon, it could be a long season for every team..

Poythress 15 points and 10 rebounds in 19 minutes of action. Hes going to have a breakout year. AP has turned the corner…. hes finally getting it!!

Kentucky Joe says: U of K will win number 9 this year. 46-0 sounds pretty good!!! Wait till Willie and Trey play. We have 13 players to work with.

Devin Booker and Derek Willis both need to redshirt this season.
Neither will contribute much to this team. Too much talent and depth. No need for them to waste a year of eligibility. It’s not like either will be a first round draft pick anytime soon.

It may be best for Willis, but Booker may still see a lot of minutes at the 3. Poythress has been doing great at the 4, but he’s still not much of an outsider shooter. And Cal may simply not want to play Ullis with both the twins, a lineup where he’d have Aaron at the 3.

Also, Booker’s looked like the 2nd best small defender after Ullis, and Willis has been making a lot of good passes, cuts, and steals/deflections.

So you want to redshirt two of our best shooters on a team where if they have any weaknesses will be shooting the three and free throw shooting. We should go 12 deep and just wear down every team we play. Look how well its been working so far without Stein and Lyles. #dazzling dozen

It w/b interesting to see a =/- analysis of the two platoons. Given the slow starts I’d imagine the second unit is doing a little better,.. and I think its all about Ulis. If it wasn’t for Poythress the starters would really be struggling to score and defend.

Booker not scoring and not shooting a 3 is a bit surprising.

i haven’t watched the game yet. i’ll be watching the 7 pm repeat, but one nice thing i see on the stat sheet is andrew’s 6 assists vs. tyler’s 4. i have thought all pre-season that two fun things this season will be watching ulis play, and watching andrew’s play now that he has ulis nipping at his heels. i think ulis could end up turning andrew into the top point guard in the country.

Andrew Harrison has really turned into a pass first PG. I know a part of BBN will always dislike him but I’m proud of him.
