2021 five-star center Moussa Cisse trimmed his list to ten on Sunday, and the Kentucky Wildcats made the cut.

Cisse, a 6-foot-10, 220-pound center out of Memphis, TN, announced the Wildcats were included in a final ten of Alabama, Florida State, Georgetown, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, LSU, Memphis, Tennessee, and USC.

Here was the announcement:

Widely seen as a consensus top-ten prospect in the class of 2021, Cisse is considered the No. 8 overall recruit in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Back in September, the five-star center received an offer from John Calipari and the Kentucky coaching staff during an in-home visit. From there, Cisse took an unofficial visit to Lexington on October 11 for Big Blue Madness, followed by back-to-back visits from Calipari on December 5 and 13.

Since then, though, Memphis and LSU have picked up nearly all of the buzz with the 6-foot-10 frontcourt prospect, with the latter being seen as the heavy favorite in recent weeks.

Cisse is also expected to reclassify to the class of 2020 in the coming months, making it even more of a stretch to think Kentucky will ultimately wind up being the final destination. With UK picking up significant steam with Purdue graduate transfer Matt Haarms, along with EJ Montgomery being on the fence about a potential return to Lexington, the timing doesn’t appear to be aligning for Cisse’s addition.

Could Kentucky be set to take on the five-star standout in SEC play, though? It’s a strong possibility.

Eh who cares? It was way before he even thought he could become the Memphis coach. Sure he was technically a booster but it wasn’t a recruiting tactic.

He literally used the money to recruit Wisman on to his team and he used that fact to recruit Wisman to play in college for him.

If EJ being on the fence is potentially affecting our standing with recruits, he needs to make a decision. He clearly doesn’t want to be here, he sees himself as a pro. No sense in holding the program hostage.

If EJ is stopping you from coming to KY then you don’t have much confidence in your game.

so far EJ hasnt done anything to place himself in the threat category. He can be beaten out for minutes. Dont get me wrong i want him to come back…i think he has the talent in there somewhere to be a solid first round pick…

Yes we can’t compete against the strong ass offers from those renegade coaches. And EJ needs to get his head out of his strong ass and make a decision!

Anybody else sick of these lists that get “trimmed” to 10 teams? Ridiculous. Also the reason why some of these kids have overinflated egos.

If a recruit picks Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Illinois, LSU, Memphis, or USC over UK and there isn’t a regional or familial tie call the FBI because someone just made a strong ____ offer!

Bring him home Cal. Some of you guys need to have a little faith in Coach John Calipari! You know, our Hall Of Fame Coach. Never doubt Cal until the end my friends. This kid wants to play for Kentucky, he just needs to do his homework. He’s got a little Bam in his game and we all know how that worked out. Lol. As for EJ, he needs all the time he wants. This is his life and career we’re talking about!!! NOT YOURS! Stay safe and chill out a little! Go Cats

“Bring him home, Cal?” Did you read Jack’s piece? The kind of faith you are asking for would rival that required for the Immaculate Conception.
