With Stay or Go Season heating up, we now have some important dates to keep in mind.

The NBA announced today that the 2021 NBA Draft will be held Thursday, July 29, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The first round will be televised by ESPN and ABC, and the second round will air on ESPN. The Draft Combine is scheduled for Monday, June 21 through Sunday, June 27 and the lottery will be Tuesday, June 22. The combine, which is “subject to evolving public health conditions,” will feature five-on-five games and strength and agility testing. Additional information, including the location of each event, will be announced at a later time.

More pertinent to Kentucky fans are the upcoming deadlines. The deadline for an early entry player to apply for this year’s NBA Draft is Sunday, May 30 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The deadline for an early entry player to withdraw from the NBA Draft is Monday, July 19 at 5 p.m. ET.

So far, Terrence Clarke and BJ Boston have announced they are entering the draft and foregoing their eligibility, while Isaiah Jackson is planning to test the waters. Yesterday, Jacob Toppin shared that he will be returning to Kentucky next season, joining Lance Ware, Devin Askew, and Dontaie Allen. Cam’Ron Fletcher entered the transfer portal on March 13. That leaves Keion Brooks and Davion Mintz as the two players we’re still waiting to hear from.
