2019 NBA Mock Drafts are (already) Here

Two days removed from the 2018 NBA Draft, the mock drafters have already turned their attention to 2019.

Kentucky’s 2019 draft stock is all over the place.  Usually filled to the brim with Kentucky Wildcats, you’ll find more Dukies in these mock drafts.  You won’t see even one Wildcat in Gary Parrish’s lottery projection.

The excitement from Kentucky fans for the 2019 season is not matched by the NBA Draft gurus.  They can’t get a feel for who will play their way into prime draft position, forcing the Cats to be at their best this season to advance to the next level.

This crap is so pointless. Not only do these “experts” have no clue what kind of season any of these guys will have, whether or not they have an injury, suspension, etc., or what their stats will be….they also
don’t know what teams will have what picks, beyond those known from past trade deals. Even then, those picks are often leveraged in other deals, once the draft actually rolls around.

If Richards turns out to be first round talent, we win number 9. However, after last season I doubt that ever happens.

Who cares. Let’s see if we can put together enough team chemistry to make a competitive run at a final four and national championship, then let the draft take care of itself. I’m tired of being an NBA farm team.
