The preseason college basketball rankings and discussions continue today with ESPN’s 2015 Season Preview, featuring your University of Kentucky Wildcats at No. 3 in its Power Rankings.

Jay Bilas gives his Best and Worst Case Scenarios for the 2015-16 Wildcats, along with video commentary from Andy Katz and Seth Greenberg:

It’s all good until the “What People Are Saying” section of the write-up. I’m not sure I agree with this:

“They just replace one NBA guy with another, and chemistry is the best thing that Calipari does. He brings in guys with egos and makes them a team. Last year they had four guys who shot over (30) percent from 3. I know Briscoe can shoot it, but I don’t know who else can — and I also don’t know who can score around the rim.”

Learn Jamal Murray.

That’s the dumbest comment imaginable. Ulis led UK in 3 point percentage last year, and he’s back. Murray proved all summer that he’s a deadly shooter. How can anyone follow basketball at all and not know at least that much? Briscoe is an important shooter too, but he’s probably our # 3 option in most games.

That quote is proof that no one should listen to these idiots! Briscoe can’t shoot and who finshes at the rim better than Briscoe and Murray as well as Poy and Lee?!
