Zach West is staying home

Zach West is a beast.  Fact.  I once saw him rip out a man’s heart just for looking at his quarterback’s Facebook page.  He doesn’t just protect the pass, he inflicts unimaginable pain and suffering on those who rush it.  Don’t believe me?  Look at his stat sheet – it has more pancakes than an IHOP menu.  Zach West doesn’t just make holes for his running back, he creates indestructible alleyways paved with limestone and human skulls.  Not since Moses led the children of Israel across the Red Sea has one man created such a path to paydirt.  Zach West quit carrying a cell phone because it blocked every call.  He once gave up a sack just to feel human again.  Ok, you get my point.

The 6’5 300-pound Lexington Christian superstar o-lineman committed to Kentucky today in a press conference at his high school.  He chose the Cats over Tennessee and Penn State.

Zach is the 16th ranked offensive guard in the country according to Scout.com.  This is a HUGE addition (literally and figuratively) to the 2011 class, one that just added 6’5 250-pound OL Nick Martin over the weekend.  I’m happy for Joker and his staff and even happier to see my buddy Zach stay in Lexington.  Tennessee?  Really, Zach?

Go Cats.
