Zach Gordon (2012-TE) from Carrollton, Georgia will make his college choice tomorrow. Gordon, who holds close to 20 offers has narrowed his list to Stanford, Wake Forest, Kentucky, Cincinnati and South Florida. I have no idea which way he may be leaning, but he visited Wake Forest last weekend. Gordon did attend camp at UK this summer and really enjoyed his visit. In fact, he called me afterwards and you could hear the excitement in his voice after he played under the lights at Commonwealth Stadium. At that time, I felt UK had a great chance to land his commitment. When I interviewed Zach back in June, his top five was the same with the exception of Cincinnati. It appears the Bearcats replaced Vandy in his top five. Gordon told me during an interview once before that he was a little different than most recruits. He was looking for the right fit and didn’t need to play in front of a huge crowd every weekend. He is a very smart kid too, his has a 3.9 GPA and scored a 1450 on his SAT. Greg Nord, Tee Martin and Steve Pardue have all played a role in his recruitment for UK.
