Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

You could’ve bought John Wall’s game jersey…

… if you had $7,520 to blow.

The game jersey from John Wall’s NBA debut sold for $7,520 on NBA Auction, the league’s official memorabilia marketplace.  The size XL +4 jersey has been through 35 minutes of game action against Orlando with sweat residue from 14 points, nine assists, three steals, and a rebound.  The $7,520 sale price ranks third behind Lebron James and Kobe Bryant’s opening night jerseys.

For the money spent on this jersey you could buy courtside seats for the Louisville game, 3,760 KSR iPhone apps, 334 copies of ‘Bounce Back’, or pay back Josh Selby’s impermissible benefits at Kansas and still have money almost two grand left over.

What’s the most you would’ve paid for John Wall’s debut threads?
