Beisner, it may be (unfortunately) that this comments section should be closed. Or tightly moderated. I’m almost afraid to see what’s about to get posted . . . feel free to delete this, as even this suggestion is uncouth.

Isn’t it ironic that someone who wanted everyone to be tough, came from a lady named Wimpy??

Gillispie will coach again and he will be great somewhere. Too bad it couldn’t happen here. BBN should be united in giving their condolences to CBC.

I know from losing my own dear mother many years ago, how painful this is. But I also know what a great comfort God is in times of such loss. My prayer is that God will comfort Coach Gillispie now and in the days ahead. If i could see Coach Gillispie in person, I’d tell him, “By faith in Christ, you’ll see your mother again someday.”

You know for as arrogant, confident and passionate we Kentucky fans are about our basketball we sure do have a soft side. Reading these comments is what makes me proud to be part of BBN. Even though BCG wasn’t the most popular coach we’ve had, we still are able to stay classy during this tough time for him.
