Wiltjer returns to action

One note that slipped by yesterday is that 2011 Kentucky signee Kyle Wiltjer returned to the court Tuesday after missing time due to an injury. Wiltjer broke a bone in his right foot on February 1st, and missed the last half dozen games recovering. He posted 21 points in his return, a 32-point win for Wiltjer’s Jesuit squad over Centennial in the opening round of the Oregon Class 6A state tournament.
Wiltjer and his team are seeking their third straight 6A state title, which would make them the first team in Oregon history to three-peat in the state’s largest division. They play next against Sunset tomorrow night. We wish Kyle the best of luck in his quest to make history, and thank our lucky stars that he’s fully recovered and the injury won’t affect his participation in the Derby Classic. Oh wait. Nevermind.

maybe Jon Hood could play in it…….
Can’t wait to see this kid kick Tennessee and Louisville A$$ on a regular basis!
GOOD LUCK KYLE ON YOUR WAY TO THE OREGON STATE TITLE! TROY MCKINLEY WILL BE WAITING TO GIVE YOU A HIGH FIVE AND AN ATTABOY ONCE YOU HAIL THAT STATE TROPHY HIGH OVER YOUR HEAD, SIMILAR TO HOW HE DID IN KENTUCKY IN 1981.
Can we just add Troy McKinley to the current poll to allow his fame and fortune at UK be voted on by us all so that he can stop advertising his brilliance every post? 🙂
If not for KENTUCKY on his hoodie he would look like a Dukee.Haha Good luck in your tourney.Looking forward to seeing you in a WILDCAT uniform.
Also, a really good uni picture of Troy at http://www.bigbluehistory.net/bb/Graphics/Programs/19830205Alabama.jpg

Troy McKinley=NO
JIM DINWIDDIE=YES!!!!!
Assuming T. Jones leaves for the NBA, then we are basically replacing Jorts and Jones with Davis and Wiltjer. Will they match Jorts’ and Jones’ combined production (25PPG and 18RPG)? Who guards a big body like Ezeli next year? I hope Eloy shows the same level of improvement in his second year under Cal that Jorts, Miller, and Liggins did this year.
I’m worried that Stacey Poole will not be back and I think that kid has great potential, especially in the Dribble Drive type of offense. He can jump out of the gym and has a pretty good outside jumper. But if he’s not playing on a team with 10 players (six man rotation), he’ll DEFINIETLY not play next year.
Can’t wait till next year. I still have hope on this years cats. Go ZBig Blue and btw
Jones stock is falling lamb 45th overall and in some hes not even in 2nd round and Knights around 20-24
At least two I think is coming back. UK 2012 Champs??
17. Ud think so but i say Davis will try to put on as much weight as poosible. We Shall See Tho my brotha
hey #18… there’s a group of ‘intellectuals’ around here that bristles at the name JESUS…
Hey # 21 … how about turning the other cheek? And loving your neighbor? Or do you just pick and choose His words as they suit you? If you’re going to be a Christian, practice what He preached. Especially if you’re going to be loud about it.
