The Barnstable Brown Gala, an annual Derby weekend staple, is happening tonight, and below you can see the list of celebrities that made the trip for the festivities. It also features several of the 2012 Cats and of course Coach Cal, although the person putting the list together managed to butcher the names of both Marquis Teague and Terrence Jones. Just came from there. P Patterson was all class coming down to the people and signed autographs for a good 10 minutes. Got lucky enough that Erin Andrews got out of her ride right in front of me. On that note it was time to walk home.
Besides getting to see the UK players; spending money to go see a bunch of if they’re lucky D List celebrities, these people don’t even get invited to parties in LA. How is Larry Birkhead a celebrity? Talk about irrelevant. When was the last time Taylor Dayne did anything? Someone needs to tell the organizer they need to update their guest list & learn how to spell.

On the ESPNU coverage today of the White House trip they butchered Polson’s last name in a graphic. It projected the starter’s and the back up’s. They spelled it Paulson.

The vast majority of these “celebrities” are actually paid to attend these parties. You hire them to appear at your party/event. There’s a word for that type of person. It rhymes with Door.
