Who is winning the Battle of Former UK Players?

With the mass amounts of former UK players currently residing in NBA cities, I thought it would be interesting to see just who is having the most success in games against their college counterparts.  So, I went back and looked at every NBA matchup this season in which a UK player played for both teams on the court.  Just who has had the most success against other UK players, both team and individual:

*Stats only include games against other UK players.  For game to have been counted, UK players must have played in the game, not just been on the roster.

1. Patrick Patterson (Rockets): 3-0
Averages: 6.0 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.7 apg, 80.0 FG%

2. Rajon Rondo (Celtics): 8-3
Averages: 11.5 ppg, 12.0 apg, 3.1 spg, 50.9 FG%

3. Eric Bledsoe (Clippers): 6-3
Averages: 8.3 ppg, 3.6 apg, 1.0 spg, 38.6 FG%, 24.0 3P%

4. Keith Bogans (Bulls): 9-5
Averages: 3.1 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 40.0 FG%, 37.0 3P%

5. Chuck Hayes (Rockets): 6-4
Averages: 5.5 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.0 bpg, 53.5 FG%

6. Jodie Meeks (76ers): 5-4
Averages: 12.6 ppg, 49.3 FG%, 54.8 3P%

7. Nazr Mohammed (Bobcats): 6-6
Averages: 7.7 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 52.6 FG%

8. John Wall (Wizards): 3-4
Averages: 16.7 ppg, 9.0 apg, 2.3 spg, 42.9 FG%, 38.9 3P%

9. Tayshaun Prince (Pistons): 5-8
Averages: 14.9 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 49.4 FG%

10. Demarcus Cousins (Kings): 0-11
Averages: 10.5 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 37.7 FG%

(Jamaal Magloire has played in 7 games this season, but none against a UK counterpart.  Kelenna Azubuike and Daniel Orton have not played this season.)

That’s right.  Demarcus Cousins is 0-11 against former UK players this season.  He will get a shot at Rondo on Tuesday, but won’t have another UK-related game until February 25th.  Looks like Big Cuz will have to sit in the UK cellar for a few weeks longer.

    4) Sorry, I was not in Lexington last night. Which likely means they had a good time, because I usually just ruin their good time.

And I’m still having trouble understanding why Wall was not invited to compete in the dunk contest. I admit I haven’t watched him play this year, but after watching him last year, we all know what a highlite show he can be.

Rick Three Stacks is said to very interested in the Pacer’s Coaching job.
I bet Tommy Turtleneck is hoping he can pick up were Rick’s 15 seconds of fame stopped.

    19) Actually, there is an article out that says Massielo is going to be the next Manhatten coach and Jim O’brien is going to be on UofL’s bench next year (asst. coach).

If you don’t count the two Final Fours being vacated and the programs he left in a mess, Coach Cal seems like a pretty respectful coach. Glad he is leading us.

#20 Massielo is a joke. If that idiot can land a HC job then anybody should be able to.
Pitino counts on Massielo to do too much of his dirty work for him, like going to the dry cleaners.

yeah pretty dumb post, why would these players give a shit about how their teams stack up against former teammate’s teams? it should have just been a comparison of how players are doing in the NBA. patterson would not be at the top for barely even making the NBA cut.

21-Is Memphis in a mess? Sorry didn’t realize having more talent than UL was bad. Get over the Camby thing. He accepted money from an agent could’ve happened under any coach. Your just mad because Kentucky is rollin’ again and you’re a hater. SEC Champs b*tch

Sure am glad Orton hasn’t even played this year. He would have been the missing piece for us to make a final four run and possibly made himself into a lottery pick. What a dick! Great advice from his Daddy. Way to cost your son millions.
