Worst writer on KSR. Can’t you do anything original, knowledgeable, or factual? Your articles are either copies of someone else or just completely off base.

Thanks Mrs. Thompson, I do not surf the web all day and need you to provide me this data / links.
I feel sorry for those that think everything and everyone should revolve around them.
Again – thank you and please press forward.

Jalen Whitlow is not our best option at QB. Max Smith is a much better/smarter passer. If we are depending on Jalen to run a high powered offense against SEC caliber defenses, then this year might be uglier than we expect.

Are we all missing the part where he said our “x-factor” player was someone that no one knows for sure is the starter, totally bypassing Avery Williamson and Bud Dupree? If Chris Low isn’t careful, he’s going to end up doing his job as poorly as Ed Aschoff.

    9) Max Smith has shown to be no better then a SEC back up. Funny how every one forgets HE was the reason we lost to WKU! Hope Towles can win the job this summer so he will know to transfer or stay with Barker coming on board!

    11. The defense is why we lost to WKU.

Thanks for all you do, Mrs TT! #3 is a jerk. His mom should spank his little fanny red and take away his computer privileges for a week!

    12. Max Smith threw 4 interceptions in that game.

That being said, Max Smith was leading the SEC in passing before he got injured. Our season may have turned out differently had he stayed healthy, maybe 3-6 wins. I’m which case, Joker might have stayed on. So things have a funny way of working out.

I still believe Smith could be very effective in the Air Raid and may be our best option. He has an underrated arm, puts decent zip on the ball, makes quick decisions (sometimes too quick, example WKU-but with all the recent practice I’m sure that’s improved) and is a smart guy.

It’s hard to ignore Whitlow’s athleticism though. He gives us a unique wrinkle in that offense not unlike Manziel at A&M, although Jalen runs with a litte more finesse and a little less attack. It would be a mistake to forget the tremendous improvement in his passing, footwork, and patience that we saw in the spring game.

It’s a toss up. We’re not in on training camp, but I can assure all four quarterbacks will be starting to steam a little and separate as it progresses. Who’s going to stand out? I’d put money on Smith.

Max? Did u people see him in the spring game? Reese is the 2nd best QB next to Whitlow. “He was the leading passer in SEC- before he got hurt”….and those where not SEC_ teams! From a inside source Whitlow lead the QBs in all stats during the entire camp and spring game was just icing. Whitlow is the smartest by far. Learn the fastet makes better decisions by far. Strongest fastest and more durable. Case closed
