Last night I gave you a recap of the SEC’s season so far. After reading the comments section, I realized I needed to include this weekends coming games, so here they are. The weekend schedule for the SEC.
Auburn (1-0) @Mississippi State (1-0)
Georgia (1-0) @South Carolina (1-0)
South Florida (1-0) @Florida (1-0)
LSU (1-0) @Vanderbilt (0-1)
Penn State (1-0) @Alabama (1-0)
Arkansas (1-0) vs LA-Monroe (0-0) (Neutral Location)
Oregon (1-0) @Tennessee (1-0)
Western Kentucky (0-1) @Kentucky (1-0)
Ole Miss (0-1) @Tulane (1-0)
A couple notes about the schedule:
-Most of the teams in the SEC are moving from cupcakes last weekend to more legitimate opponents this weekend, Kentucky included. Somebody call the fire department because Louisville just got burned.
-Outside of the Kentucky game, thursday nights game between Auburn and Mississippi State could give us a better idea of what we will see later in the season.
-The Georgia game has some serious implications to how the SEC East could play out, the winner finding themselves an early favorite for second place.
-The Bama game should be fun to watch, and give us an idea of whether or not a 5th year SEC BCS championship is plausible.
-Tennessee won last weekend 50-0. Oregon won 72-0. That is all.
