Draft day was not exactly a rosy day for Andre Woodson. When the New York Giants picked Rhett Bomar in Round 5, Woodson had to know that he was officially on the clock as far as his career with the G-Men. However now Andre says he is stepping up to the plate. In the article linked above he says he plans on fighting for the third spot in the Giants’ QB rotation and plans on giving Bomar a run for his money. When Woodson came in, he took J-Load’s job and ran one UK QB out of town. It remains to be seen whether Bomar will turn the same trick on Andre.
