Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

What are you doing?! It’s almost Fan Day!

Go to Fan Day and tell Mychal Bailey to stop getting in trouble!

The gates for Fan Day open at five o’clock so, depending on when you’re reading this, you still have time to get down there and join in the excitement. The schedule for events is as follows:

5 PM – Gates open

6 PM to 8 PM – Open practice

8 PM to 9:30 PM – Players are introduced and sign autographs

9:30 PM – Fireworks

The practice will feature offensive, defensive and special teams drills and there will be parking available in the blue, green and red lot. I wish I was in Lexington so I could attend. It should be a great chance for the fans to interact with the players, a group that’s proud to represent Big Blue Nation.

If you do go to Fan Day today and enjoy yourself to the point that you’re moved to retell your story or share pictures from the event, please send them to me at [email protected] and I’ll try to make a little post for late tonight or Monday.

Why do the coaches wear sweatshirts and long sleeves. It seems a bit weird to me.

Oh, and Demarco Robinson (#9) caught every ball thrown to him – looked impressive while I was there.
