As a gift I received a framed print of a painting titled “Back on Top”. The painting is of a scene from the national championship game with Anthony Davis blocking a Kansas player’s shot while Lamb, Miller, and Gilchrist are nearby watching or playing defense. The picture is huge and just fantastic. Be looking for it at Deck The Walls in St. Matthews Mall.

Ended up switching time between the smoking section (hadn’t smoked in 2 years prior to that) and a spot in the concourse where I could see a flat screen with the game and a scoreboard from the stadium (the TV’s in the dome didn’t have time or score for some reason).

Why would you cut Tim Tebow? That’s just dumb. He is as good of a Wildcat-formation quarterback you can have in the league. The Jets are going to use him like crazy in that package and Sanchez in the other formations.

Remember the dark blue UK tees from the 70’s and 80’s that had the small, block print “Kentucky” across the chest in white?

I miss those. Seems a UK shirt won’t make the cut list these days unless 80% of it is covered in 20+ colors, a catchy slogan and a list of championship years on the back.

Part of acting like a leader is “because they don’t know what’s going to happen when the season starts”? What are you talking about Drew? So that’s an excuse for Max and Newton to not be leaders on the field and not act like they are in control? I mean, they are playing quarterback for crying out loud. I love to hear these things about Whitlow and Towles. I know Whitlow may end up being the one because he the same size as Newton but is more athletic and much faster. It just comes down to this: Can he throw on target?

They played an older 4 part Documentary on KET on or close to the Nat’l Championship game this year, called Great Balls of Fire http://www.ket.org/basketball/ . I recorded it on my DVR but have yet to find a copy to purchase. That dude is interviewed on Pt. 2 in the very begginning. His name was Bob Jenkns, I think.

I can not verify this because it broke from use and we don’t have it anymore.  When I was a kid my parents had a UK toilet seat.  This was not a cover, it was a blue vinyl toilet seat and back.  When down the cover said university of Kentucky and when opened the inside of the cover said welcome to wildcat country.  It was pretty neat.
