Welcome to Purgatory Thursday

Well, this is awkward, huh?

So, the Cats lost last night, ending one of the wackiest seasons I can remember and we all were expecting to hear one way or the other today or late last night if the Billy Clyde Gillispie Era would continue in Lexington. But, the Big Blue Commander-in-Chief, Lee Todd, issued a decree stating that a decision would not be made until Friday….which kind of leaves us all just hanging out with our hands in our pocket, eyes to the air and whistling. This is awkward in the truest sense of the word.

There are tons that are anti-Gillispie and there are tons that are pro-Gillsipie. Some of you are anti-Mitch and a few of you are even anti-Lee. But, I think we can all agree that we are pro-decision. Right now, I just want to shake this lingering feeling. If your day has been anything like mine, it’s been filled with very little actual paycheck-earning work and has instead been a steady stream of emails and text messages debating and discussing Billy Clyde Gillispie. I can’t take it anymore!!!

Is it Friday yet? I need answers, gentleman. I want to know who will be coaching next year and I want to know who I will have to spend the summer photoshopping. For the love of all things holy, guys, stop being so selfish and thinking about yourselves and making sure you’re thorough. I want a stinking answer!!!!!!!

If this stretches into the weekend, I might have to commit myself.
