Welcome Texas A&M?

texas-am-sec

The Texas A&M Rivals site is reporting that it’s a done deal now and the Aggies are in the SEC, with the final approval set for August 22 at the Board of Regents meeting. We gave them Bear Bryant and they gave us Billy Gillispie. Time to open a Texas-sized a whoopass on them for the forseeable future.

Welcome to the family, Texas A&M.

So, who runs to the big show with them? Does Oklahoma get legislative help now that the Big 12 might be in trouble? V-Tech? Missouri?

If you live here in Louisville, the underoos, i mean underdogs were talking excitedly about if TexasAM moved to the SEC who would want to pick up the cards. I wanted to call in and say excuse me but don’t you all brag about how great the Big East is and how you are in the greatest basketball conference ever!

florida plays fsu already every year so it just makes since.

Why is this occurring rightnow with an entire year before Texas a&m actually
    Makes the move?

Concerning fsu, some have said it doesn’t make since because it doesn’t bring the sec into a best TV it geographic market (see vtech mizzu Maryland etc.) I would personally love to see feudal or Oklahoma entire the league. Talking about caliber and competition.

Change sucks. But it makes us adapt.

Here is a new ‘change’, or recruit that just kinda showed up:

    9) That would be insane. Any SEC West would be brutal. Could do SEC North, South, East and West.

And Bill Self would be crying again over his basketball school being in limbo.

    17) Marketing and recruiting for the year. All the talk about the best conference, the one that has won the last handful of titles, adding the heart of football country to its lineup. Build up the excitement on ESPN.

I live in Missouri. Everyone around here seems to think that Mizzou is the next school to leave big 12 and join SEC. Missouri is a semi southern state and it borders ky, Arkansas and Tennessee. I would love to see this move and get Kentucky playing out here.

This is exactly what the SEC needed, another team that wears maroon/brick red uniforms with a dimly lit basketball arena. They’ll fit right in. On a related note, Arkansas, Alabama, Miss St, South Carolina and Georgia are pissed.
