Welcome back, Kelenna

Former Kentucky favorite Kelenna Azubukie saw a return to the NBA last night, playing in a game for the first time since November of 2009 when he went down for the season with a torn patella tendon.
He played six minutes for Dallas, in the Mavericks 104-94 win over the Golden State Warriors. He missed his only two shot attempts, both three-pointers, and turned the ball over twice.
Azubukie was traded to the New York Knicks in 2010, and waived in 2011 after failing to make an appearance. The Mavs picked him up a few weeks ago, likely in anticipation of their moving on from Lamar Odom. Until last night, he was making his comeback in the D-League where he averaged 6.4 points, 3.4 rebounds in just fewer than 13 minutes per game.
Here’s to hoping the Big Blue presence in the NBA continues to grow, with some of the older guys making a return.

That news is so incredible!
And Cal is not a fibber like Pitino.

With him back in the league doesn’t this tie us up with duke for the most players active in the league? Were gonna smash that number come this summers draft anyways but kelenna may be the tie breaker right now…
