Hey Matt, I was watching SportsCenter yesterday morning and there was a commerical for Wolf brand Chili. The voice on the commerical was the one and only Powers Booth. I laughed and thought of you. Seeing as how now Jim Jones was no longer trying to get you to drink the Kool Aid, he’s trying to get you to eat the chili…

What about roy leaving kansas on probation and the academic fraud as well as the Hansborough deal, coach k with the magettie/poythress/lance thomas deal, bob knight and his shenanigans… do their titles “feel good”?? why the differentiation? And Skip Bayless saying Cal has always Under achieved with seeds in the tourney is ridiculous! At umass he got to final four wit 1 seed… Memphis got to NC with 1 seed and s16 wit 4 seed, UK got to EE with 1 seed, ff wit 4 seed and beat overall #1 seed to get there and then comes into tourney as best team and wins it all? What does the man have to do to get respect? Win a NBA title? Gold Medal? Oh wait he is liable to do both of those… the fact these fools get their own tv show on ESPN is absolutely bogus!

Matt come on, while we were competitive in the first half, WE LOST BY 21

Why is this not being stressed? Vegas had the spread at 21, whether you get killed the entire game, or they hang 30 in the second half a loss is a loss. If we lost by the same amount, with the same scores, but with a point distribution over the entire game, people would still not be happy. This thought of winning the first half is embarrassing. Joker is a good guy but his failure to make adjustments and his decision making over the last 3 years is very questionable. That is why he needs to go and be replaced by somebody who has previous coaching experience. Who that is, I dont know but a change must be made or attendance will stay down and lost revenue is the biggest way to get a coach fired and uk fans are not showing up at games and that why he must go.

MATT/RYAN – the band played “Phantom of the Opera” at halftime – because UK Opera is performing “Phantom of the Opera” starting this week at the Lexington Opera House. It is one of only 2 University’s that have been licensed to perform this; required to use only University Opera students in order to be licensed to perform this. UK has an Excellent Opera program – lead by Dr. McCorvey. FYI

the top tier SEC teams that we play are much deeper than we are in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Had South Carolina lined up in the first half and ran it right at us we may have been able to stop the run on a few drives but eventually out guys wear out and they keep running waves of fresh guys at us. What UK needs more than anything is more depth on the line.

I think Mitch Barnhart should be fired also. My reason are as follows: He has raised prices for UK football games and Mitch and his coach (Joker) have given us less to watch. There is no way the UofL game was worth a ticket price of 80.00 or whatever it was priced at. Commonwealth Stadium needs updated (more bathrooms) better parking(they decresed the size of the blue lot), better control of traffic congestion into and out of the stadium (yes Mitch can get that done, although it’s not a problem this year), better cell reception (hey mitch why not call up verizon they are a sponser to help with this). Joker may not be the best coach- but half of the reason people don’t come to the games is on Mitch’s back. How about giving something back to the fans.
