Watch the Cats hustle for the ladies

To get you through the long week leading up to Big Blue Madness, here is some more footage from the Women’s Clinic. These two videos were taken during Rock Oliver’s presentation on strength and conditioning drills, which you can see some of the players demonstrate above. It’s not exactly practice, but it’s a good look at the speed and footwork of Willie Cauley-Stein, Nerlens Noel, and Alex Poythress. Also, Brian Long can hustle. I hope we can appreciate that.

Once the rest of the team came back in from other sessions, Rock made them line up and do a set of push-ups and sit-ups for the crowd:

Best push-up form? I vote Archie Goodwin, but man, Julius Mays has some nice posture.

I’ve been out of the country for the last year… Can someone please explain the references to Brian Long and appreciation of being on the team? I’m confused here… I keep seeing references allude to this fact, but any explanation?

If you people don’t start respecting this website and stop
funking it up with sex and politics, you will wake to
find every single one of your armpit hairs infected,
and your nether regions infested with small
    crawling things.

In the first drill, Wiltjer looks like the duck’s upper body above water, and Long looks like his lower body below water.

Totally cool, Mrs. T, thanks for sharing! I couldn’t afford the $100, so I’m enjoying everything you put on the website about the experience. So cool!
