Watch Randall Cobb watch the Cats snap The Streak

Ever wonder how Randall Cobb reacted to Kentucky’s huge win over Tennessee back in November? Well, now you can watch Golden Eyes celebrate the streak-snapping victory thanks to Moncell Allen’s series of “Randall Cobb Blogs” (what a truly awesome idea). In this installment, Cobb and Allen cheer on the Cats and afterwards, make the trek from Cobb’s home in Alcoa, Tennessee to Lexington. On the way, Cobb even calls Matt Roark to congratulate him, only to be brutally rebuffed by his voicemail. Enjoy.

LOVE IT! If our players keep viewing their team as a family, maybe there is hope for more improvement.

We need more post like this. Cobb is awesome.Packers games were a must watch all year for me. I think the guy will be an All Pro before his career is over and it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. I’ve been watching football a long time, Pro and College and I had never seen any “one” player that could just put a team on his back and will it to win the way Cobb could. You see it alot in basketball, but football is a different animal.

  33. I know a bit about cameras
    5:36 pm January 30, 2012 Permalink

At Bob Loblaw, I can pretty much guarantee that was filmed with a DSLR camera. The beginning they were in a dark room and with that lighting it pretty much doesn’t matter what kind of camera you are using, it won’t look very good. The rest had plenty of light and then you can really use those cameras, or any camera for that matter, at their best capability.

The only…and I do mean only…regret that I have with the win over those low down, dirty snitches is that the Legend of Cobb (LoC) did not get to participate. A LoC reverse (like the one against Auburn) and score to win on the final play of the game would have been poetic justice and worthy of a Hallmark movie…(with Meridith Baxter Birney playing LoC’s mom!)
