Watch Nerlens and WCS play together

Nerlens Noel and Willie Cauley-Stein gave Cats fans a nice preview of what’s to come when they played together over the weekend at the 2012 Adidas Nations Event in Los Angeles. Based on all the dunks, lobs, and blocks they threw down, the future of the Two Towers is looking bright.

Also, anyone want to take a guess as to how old the kid in red is? I’m going with 12.

Was Jonathan Gio-whateverhisnamewas at the same event as this? Noel seemed to play pretty well for someone who had to have the ball ‘spoon-fed’ to him.

Two observations: Noel can pass and WCS looks like he had some athletic moved and is a bulldozer down the floor

Highlight reels can make most look decent, but WTF was Givony seeing if Noel was awful in his mind?

Coach Cal will put a stop to those fundamentally unsound one-hand passes.

Yeah, I’m excited for both of these guys to be on board next year. I think they’ll be just fine, and Cal will work great things on them throughout the season. I think all the players will be good enough; I just hope there’s as much team chemistry as last year!
