Warford on Louisville: “Talk is cheap.”

UK senior offensive lineman Larry Warford doesn’t care what those Louisville Cardinals are saying up the road.

“I don’t pay attention,” he said on Wednesday. “Talk is cheap.”

But what about those Kentucky logos in the urinals at the Louisville practice facility?

“If that’s what they want to do, that’s what they want to do. We can’t control it. All we can do is practice hard and get ready for that game.”

Games are won on the field, not on Twitter, and Warford said he’s never seen a group as focused as this Kentucky team is right now.

Beat. Louisville.

  2. Dear IU and UL, We are National Champs; you are not. The end.

I’ve been talking to some UL fans lately. They believe that UL is going to run away with the championship this year, so I would imagine we will have a tough time winning.

We have absolutely zero chance of beating Louisville this year in football.

I get that Louisville is better than they have been the past few years.. but where is all this confidence coming from? UK sucked last season granted, but honestly UL wasn’t much better. and now all of a sudden they are going to contend for the Super Bowl.. Please Not saying the Cats will beat them.. but I do think its possible

What in the world will the Card fans do if they lose to UK ?? After all the lip flapping will they even be able to play the rest of the season ? I feel sorry for them if they lose,,,Louisville will never be the same.

The ‘Ville is a good team, however I think they are overrated. They will get a winning record this season, but definitely no BCS bowl. As for the game, UK has a chance. This is a rivalry game, it’s going to be close.

The roles have reversed from April. They have everything to loose and we have nothing to lose. I support Joker and the football team. If you dont like Joker then you don’t believe in BBN. Remember we could have someone like Billy Clyde coaching the football team who worries more about where his next drink will be than representing UK. Louisville SUCKS!!! Go CATS!!!!

UL is overfreakingrated! UK will beat UL on the road and go on to win 7 games this year plus go bowling! Joker and UK are on the rise!

Kentucky is the one who’s overrated. Picked to finish second to last? Psht, Ole Miss is much better.
Seriously though, you guys keep saying that UofL is overrated, with quite literally nothing to back that up. Louisville played more true freshmen than any team in the nation last year, and still managed to come together and end the season with a winning record and a couple impressive wins. Not to mention, Teddy Bridgewater, Teddy Bridgewater, Teddy Bridgewater. There’s a reason we’re being put in the top 25, and it’s not because ESPN is full of UofL grads.

    16. But you won’t run away with the championship either. Beating UK doesn’t mean UL could beat whatever SEC team they would be pitted against if they were to make the game even.
