Want to own Ed Davender’s prison uniform?

H/t to UK34

Today in “Bizarre UK items on eBay”: an autographed Ed Davender prison uniform.

In 2010, Davender was sentenced to eight years in prison for running a UK basketball ticket scam totaling more than $70,000. He is currently serving his sentence with hopes of getting out on parole in the coming year. While he waits, he’s apparently signing autographs on just about anything, including his prison uniform.

The item’s seller, “Scott,” says he sourced the uniform out of Lexington and it is “100% authentic for life.” The shirt, pants, and jacket have Davender’s prison ID number, and are signed in blue sharpie. You can own it all for just $750 (or best offer). Free shipping!

What’s next, a red hot autographed Richie Farmer VCR?

Are you serious? They would have better luck scamming tickets than selling this crap.

Looks like KSR is a walking advertisemt for UK thugs like Cousins, Rondo and Davender. Makes us all proud.

Crazy thing, we all know that a UK fan will buy this, will frame it, and will display it prominently somewhere. We are that CRAZY.

Hmm….sad reminders of divergent paths of the yellow brick road.

Many successful bars / Restaurants could Frame these such as Tin Roof and Outback (and Two Keys Tavern).

Hell, how about the Coal Lodge and renovated locker room?

    3) What is a “walking advertisement” exactly? If you’re going to be critical of this site, at least show some good judgement.

    1. This site has made countless jokes at Richie Farmer’s expense. Davender’s problems are on par with Richie’s. Nobody here is flying the Davender flag. Simply reporting on him doing something VERY strange is not becoming a “walking advertisement” for him.
    2. Almost every post here that mentions Rondo notes the fact that nobody (including teammates) have ever like Rondo. This situation is strange because fans really don’t like him, but he’s currently the best UK player in the NBA. Still, KSR has been fair and honest about his indiscretions, often polling the fans on what they think of his antics.
    3. If you want to complain about something, Boogie is as close as you can get. Matt clearly likes him, but admits he has issues. Boogie kept his nose clean for the most part while here, making a lot of fans in the process. It’s clear that he isn’t as mature as we all hoped, and “thug” status, as you so tactfully put it, might not be out of the question. However your “walking billboard” blanket term doesn’t apply to all three, and simply makes you look grumpy.

Davender has been indicted again, this time in Floyd County. One would presume for the same ticket scam.

    Ed Davender, # 15?
Shouldn’t the autograph read Ed Davender, #239140??

he got 8 years and that crook who ripped off the airport got probation because he was a “good Christian” and rich enough to buy a real lawyer! So Davender made a mistake, look at the pedestal he and the rest of UK players are put on. The others just didn’t get caught and there were many others that screwed up more than Ed. Hell, Kenny is a hero in town now and let’s not forget his troubles.
