University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Want a QB change? Too bad.

According to the Cat Scratches blog on UKAthletics.com, Joker Phillips did a little chatting today about yesterday’s debacle and immediately removed any doubts and squashed speculation on a possible quarterback change for this Saturday’s game with the undefeated Auburn Tigers.  Joker said, “We’re not contemplating any kind of change there.  Mike gives us the best chance to win”, emphatically endorsing his quarterback, whose 300 yards Saturday looked good, but were undermined by a few horrible mistakes.  You’re free to debate among yourselves as to who should be taking their chances under center on Saturday, but give Joker props for at least addressing it early and giving a powerful endorsement to the guy whose psyche demands it.

 – Cat Scratches  also said that Mark Crawford will take over starting duties for “Freaky” Luke McDermott, who leads the teams in sacks with three.

 – Also, Ryan Tydlacka was named National Punter of the Week for averaging over 50 yard on his five punts, including a 73 yarder.
