Wall and Cousins set to square off for the first time as NBA opponents

With an absolute beating scheduled for the current Cats, you can’t blame a few Cats fans if they’re turning their attention to Washington D.C. this evening as John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins face each other for the first time as NBA opponents. As last year’s Batman and Robin get set for tonight’s game, Michael Lee of the Washington Post, who might cover the Wall/Wizards beat with more mastery than any beat writer in the nation, takes a look at the relationship of the two rookie stars and how their NBA journeys have been similarly ridden with the expectations and struggles of rebuilding fallen franchises. And, as a bonus, it includeds the line about Wall not calling men late at night.
A reminder of why you love them:

You all have to remember that Auburn’s coach is a former assistant under Cal. I see the Cats taking a huge lead, but I also see Cal bringing in the guys who don’t get enough minutes…..Cats by 17
There are going to be about 120 UK Alumni in their Blue and White at the Wizards/Kings game tonight! Can’t wait to start a rousing “GO BIG BLUE” chant at the Verizon Center tonight!

Game is on MASN cable in DC/Baltimore area.
I am really looking forward to the Rookie Allstar team… I think that Wall Cousins and Bledsoe are locks, and that Pat could get on there as well… how cool would it be for thos four to run together again….Jodie Meeks could be on the other team as a Second Year playing against the Rooks…
The game will not be televised nationally, but @TeamCousins on twitter posted some links to get it online.
#4 I’m with you. I miss em, I miss em, I miss em. I just hope I’m at the game when they are the “Y”.
