In my post-game analysis of the UK-South Carolina game, I wrote that the insistance on working the offense through DeMarcus Cousins seemed to handcuff John Wall and Eric Bledsoe, virtually taking them out of the game. It seems that devoted Tennessee homer and KSR buddy Clay Travis agrees and made an interesting comparision over at AOL Fanhouse this afternoon. Could John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins be a college version of Shaq and Kobe? Travis makes a very strong comparison that while both players are dominant and possibly the best at their positions, their games don’t exactly mesh and, at some point, Kentucky is going to have to decide who their offense runs through.
Read up and form a strong opinion. Let’s reconvene on the night post and discuss. I have some strong feelings about this.
