Only two things are certain in SEC football: Kentucky will be 5th in the SEC East preseason rankings, and a Tennessee football player will be arrested before the season opener.
Vols linebacker Austin Johnson was arrested over the weekend for fighting people and automobiles. Johnson was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct after he tried to pick a fight with a guy in a bar. The other gentlemen declined Johnson’s proposal to fight, so Johnson took his hard sauce into the streets behind Tin Roof in Knoxville where he was found punching parked cars.
Johnson made 44 tackles for the Vols last season and he was projected to be a leader on defense at weakside linebacker this season.
