This weekend, three of UK’s targets are visiting rival schools and one is visiting his home school. Now I’m sure we can’t expect a shoe to be tossed at recruits or any awkward conversations like this one, but as a Kentucky fan you have to hope that these trips don’t go too well. Here’s the one’s you need to watch:
– Tobias Harris began his official visit to Louisville today and will be there until Tuesday. UL is a team that is very intriguing to the Harris family, especially after watching Earl Clark’s recent development under Pitino’s wing. Kentucky almost had the opportunity to ruin this trip by scheduling a practice in Freedom Hall and allowing the Big Blue Nation to invade Louisville during the first day of his trip but that is no longer occurring (damn media). However, maybe they’ll get to see the new arena development downtown and wonder if they want to be a part of an organization that planned that parking situation.
– Jelan Kendrick was in Bloomington this weekend, taking an official visit to Indiana. After getting tossed from the Kyrie Irving race, Coach Crean would love to get a top ball handler in the form of Josh Selby or Jelan Kendrick.
– Brandon Knight is visiting Kansas. Knight was originally scheduled to attend the Late Night in the Phog event (that produced this) but canceled because of school obligations. Kansas is one of the front runners in this race, making this visit important for both Kansas and Kentucky.
– Although this one isn’t a rival visit, Terrence Jones is visiting Oregon this weekend, which is his home-state school.
