Morning, Cats fans. Coming to you live from Long Beach Island. One of the songs I literally haven’t stopped listening to since getting here is ‘Riptide’ by Vance Joy, and I felt the need to share. It’s catchy, addicting, and might be the next Grammy winner. He also might be the next Chumbawamba. I’m not sure. Enjoy the links, and save your complaints for the comment section.
— Indiana native and former best college player EVER Greg Oden has signed with the Heat. There’s probably a joke in there, but I’m not going to make it. Enjoy. Mark Titus, his former college and AAU teammate, also has a good look into his decision.
— The new coaches poll is out, and there are a lot of familiar faces. Bama and OSU are at the top, but 5 SEC teams crack the top 10. Because of course. It’s the SEC.
–Stoops continued being Stoops, and gave a great speech the other at the Kentucky Football Kickoff Luncheon. He spoke about building the program ‘brick by brick’ and was basically his normal Mark Stoops self. Kyle Tucker has the writeup, read the highlights yourself.
–Remember when former OSU President Gordon Gee was basically an idiot, and was forced into retirement? Yeah, well, he just agreed to a $5.8 million retirement package with his former employer. The article is a few days old, but bears repeating.
–ICYMI: Michael Dyer is headed to Louisville. He agreed to leave his gun at home, though. So that’s good.
Peruse those links for now and I’ll be back with more in a bit. Save some coffee.
