Updates on Ashely Lowery

According to a tweet from Steve Jones of the Courier-Journal, Greg Nord (Special Teams Coordinator and Tight Ends coach who recruited Lowry) has spoken to Ashely Lowry’s family, who told him that the junior safety was thrown from the car during last night’s accident in Georgia and he’s currently undergoing tests.
Dakotah Tyler, a senior safety on the football team, also tweeted out an optimistic update around 4:15 pm:
Just got an update on my bro ash still in ICU but the vibe I got sounded positive…🙠#BBN

Keep Lowry and his family in your thoughts as you enjoy Derby Day.

What a sad world. Updated by creeping on twitter. Journalism at its best.
Good luck Ash prayers out to you and your family for a speedy recovery and positive news
@1 – I’m offended! Where else do you think I for my daily updates?
You are in our prayers Ash. Please get better…
Well darn, there goes the season.
I pray for Ashley and his family. I don’t know what keeping him in my thoughts would do!
Ashely and his family are still in my thoughts. I am certainly hoping for the best for him and for a rapid, full recovery. He is a tough young man.
I feel bad for the kid, but come on, no seat belt? How about some common sense.
8 how do you now he wasn’t wearing a seat belt?
