Update From Lysa Drake – TC Still Stable But Critical

drake_tc

Former Wildcat TC Drake remains in critical condition after a motorcycle crash over a week ago. His mom has been periodically updating friends with his progress through his facebook, and a little over an hour ago she posted another one.

In her words, via facebook:

Quick update on TC…. No major changes yet, he has had a roller coaster ride for a few days but is stable again.  Still critical.  Thanks for all the prayers and conerns… TC is one blessed young man to have all the friends he does… Keep the prayers coming…. Thumbs up TC…

It’s an awful situation all around, but it’s good to know he and his family are hanging tough.  So remember to keep TC in your prayers as you go about your day, and hopefully we will have more positive news come our way soon.

Awfully enough if hes still in critical condition I dont think the likelyhood of him ever living a normal life or even making it out of this period. I hope the woman who hit him gets prosecuted to the fullest. Can anyone tell me why theyd ever ride a motorcycle without a helmet? Or why its not a law to wear one?

    Praying for you TC!!!!

#2 Bikers ride without helmets knowing the risk, I ride a bike and almost always wear a helmet, the reason we don’t is because the experience without is amazing and exhilarating!!! The feeling of freedom coupled with the sounds cannot be described or understood unless you’ve done it. The downside of course is this situation. As far as why there isn’t a law, it’s a free country.

the sad thing is is there are a lot of bad places to try and pull out of around BTown. People park in yellow zones where they’re not supposed to and so forth. and i know she was under the influence apparently but anyone who’s been here or lives here knows how f’d up everything is and its a wonder there aren’t more bad accidents
