Anyone have a link to the fox sports Atlantic stream for us in the Northeast? It was mentioned they streamed last weeks game but I can’t find any link to any fox sports watch live.

So when you have twin towers, no inside-out game? I do like transition offense, dribble drive in the halfcourt, but when you have such a massive advantage inside, no inside game? More shots outside the 3 line than within at the 3 min mark of the first half…… dunno
#13 it’s preseason against a team with no starter over 6’4. Think Cal is working on getting them ready for Maryland and Duke try to improve the overall offence. No dought we could score every time down low, but I don’t think that will help us improve.

I think they look just like Cal wants them too. All coaches want their teams to struggle in these preseason games. They use these more for teaching then anything else. Young team Cal will use this to break them down.

#18 I get what your saying, but I think our frount court gets more of a work out in practice then what Transylvania can do. They are just to small.kinda like playing on 8 foot goals. It’s fun and make a lot of good dunks but hurts you whenever the goals are raised back to 10 foot.

Yes, I am kind of wondering why Noel and WCS are not seeing the ball much. Sure, we’re bigger inside, but we’re bigger and better outside as well. I think that some ball experience on the inside for our freshmen frontcourt wouldn’t hurt a bit, especially with the lead we have, and more especially with the big men they’re going to have to play early on.

16, yeah, Transy has 26 points with 6 minutes to go in the game. We look pretty bad. You are correct in that we don’t look great but you have us 0-2 because of a scrimmage against the 20th ranked Division III team. I know less about basketball the more I read so I reckon I better stop reading. It’s not like all the other top 25 teams are playing better competition than us.

40 I agree. I wish I had the time and resources to see how the other top 20 teams are doing in their exhibition games. I have not had a chance to see how anyone else is doing so it is hard to say where we are. I really liked our defense in the second half, not sure how many points they scored in the second half or how many buckets they scored that did not come from the stripe but I think we held those guys to about 18 or 20 points from actual field goals. Pretty solid defense. Offense will come.

Cal likes to use these games to show the freshmen that the way they did things in high school will not work here. Cal will have plenty of tape to show the players. #40 there is a story on Kentucky.com that Cal hasn’t even practiced D for 1 minute yet. So how good will they be when we start working on it

Not get in before the scrubs? I’m sure Twanys a good kid and don’t get me wrong I would trade places with him in a heartbeat, but Twany is a scrub. He just isn’t that good. He could probably get some time somewhere else, but he just isn’t UK good.
