Kentucky’s most consistent 3rd down play last couple of years…..have 3rd and long….pass it short.

2 – i think it should be “that’s exactly right.” Can’t stand how much he says that. Someone will call with one point and the response is “that’s exactly right.” Next caller will say the opposite of caller 1 and response is “that’s exactly right.” C’mon man

16 – Great college football teams and NFL teams do the exact same thing…..Im not defending the play call because I agree that it is annoying but many coaches feel they have a better chance of getting the first after the catch than they do of completing a pass downfield for the first.
16 – Plus the way that most defenses lineup….they are trying to stop the pass play around the first down markers….meaning you have to either take the short pass, try to air it out way past the first down, or throw it into tight coverage.
