UK vs. Louisville not listed on SEC’s TV schedule

The SEC released the football television schedule for next season and Kentucky vs. Louisville is not on the list of televised games. The schedule shows four conference TV games for September 17th – Auburn @ Clemson, Ole Miss @ Vandy, Tennessee @ Florida, and Navy @ South Carolina – but no Governor’s Cup.

Kentucky also failed to make any of the CBS games, although there are still weekly time slots to be earned throughout the season.

Kentucky and Western Kentucky will kickoff at 9:15 on Thursday, September 1 on ESPN U.

Do you really think anybody outside Ky gives at rat’s ass about that game?

People need to realize that the overwhelming majority of the TV schedule is created 10 days prior to kickoff.

There are still a ton of CBS spots open for the season beyond September.

Don’t really care what the rest of the country thinks. This is a “BIG” game here in the Commonwealth and it will find a spot somewhere on TV.

Not surprised. UK needs to schedule up a little to get on TV.

Somebody will carry it but honestly on a national level nobody really wants to see mediocre football.

    10) Not arguing with your point, but somehow Navy/SC doesn’t quite cut it, either.

    5) I’d say there’s a sizable number of people in the navy across the country that will want to watch the Middies (9-4) play a SEC school that won its division last season. Probably more than want to watch the defending Beef O’Brady’s Bowl winner take on the Compass Bowl loser.
