UK Volleyball Rolls on the Road
Kentucky wins in 5 here in Georgia!! #UKVB
— Kentucky Volleyball (@KentuckyVB) October 28, 2012
After making a glorious comeback Friday night in Knoxville for a 3-2 victory against the University of Tennessee, the UK volleyball team took their show on the road to Georgia and escaped victorious in 5 games. With 2 big time road victories this weekend, the volleyballers are clearly on a roll.
Senior setter Christine Hartmann got it done today — she had a career-high of 19 digs and set up 72 kills. I’m only 66.67% sure I know what those stats mean, but I am pretty certain they has something to do with the video game Call of Duty. Or at least that’s what Charlie Strong told me. The volleyball team improves to 15-8 overall on the year and 9-4 in the SEC. Both WKU and UofL sit in the top 25 NCAA volleyball rankings, but the Cats lurk just outside that list.

Our Father who art in Heaven, on this Sunday, let us give thanks for short shorts in women’s volleyball.
At least one fall sports team is doing well
1- No doubt. I can’t believe Chris Thomas didn’t post a photo of those shorts in action. Apalled.
Joker should have had her (Hartmann) on the field somewhere…anywhere!!!
Volleyball wins! somewhere Mitch is pounding one out!
Womens volleyball is great and it isn’t just the shorts, although they don’t hurt a bit.
