UK tops Torian Graham’s new list

Mark Gottfried is having a pretty difficult time holding on to players down in Raleigh but that’s okay with us. The Wolfpack lost 2012 4-star shooting guard Torian Graham yesterday and now Kentucky is at the top of his new list. Graham visited Kentucky last season and loved what he saw in Lexington. He is also considering UCLA, Louisville, Xavier, Baylor, Florida State, and a return to NC State.

Graham is the No. 5 shooting guard in the 2012 class according to Rivals and the 27th ranked player overall.

If he does end up at Kentucky, can we start calling NC State our new Washington?

What is this “4” star you speak of? I have only ever heard of “5” star players.

It could be a solid pickup especially with the way recruiting for 2012 has gone thus far…

What about Archie Goodwin and Ricardo Ledo? Are those recruitments not going as well as we hoped?

I see a cross between Chet “The Jet” Walker and “Butterbean” Love’s face-up jumper in this kid’s game

Just one time, I’d love to see one of these highlight reels set to some horrible country song.

Hummm…shooting guard? The film clip showed mostly him dunking the ball with only 2 or 3 outside shoots. Wouldn’t it be better it the highlites showed the kid shooting from the outside rather than dunking against obvious lesser talent. Ah just my opinion.

    5) Unlike some coaches, Cal covers all his bases.

we will definitely get Goodwin. I wouldnt waste my time and effort on this kid. If Cal really wanted him we would have had him by now. The 5 star players in this class are mostly all waiting on this spring or later in the fall to make a decision.

The post says that we are at the top of HIS list. Doesn’t necessarily mean Cal’s already be calling/offering.

this kid is a 5* talent no question. very similar player to Doron Lamb love to have those types. he will be a cat along with another 2G whether it be Ledo, Bazz, or Archie. We will undoubtly have the number 1 class again this year, remember that UK will be the #1 team in the country all year and in all likely hood win the title, the recruits will fall in place.

This kid wants UK to offer him and he will commit as soon as Cal does…

Funny that the #27 ranked player is a back-up to the back-up option for Calipari. If he committed during Tubby or Gillispie era, fans would put him in the Rafters before he played a season.

    He’s better than Poole #4.

#12. Not at all the type of game that Doron has. This kid is like a swingman, running the court, finishing around the rim and basically trying to jump over people. Not many have a feel for the game that Doron has. Just a different skill set.
