Williams officially down to UK and UNC

The Garrett Tucker Band of NOB Recruiting confirmed what everyone has assumed for a while now; 2013 small forward Troy Williams is officially down to Kentucky and North Carolina. Williams dropped Georgetown from his list despite having very strong ties to the Hoyas program through his aunt and uncle.
Williams told Tucker that Coach Cal called him last week and pitched him the possibility of being the 2013-14 version of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
“Coach Calipari told me I would fit well in their program,” Williams said. “He asked me if I was ready to work hard because that is what it is going to take to play at UK. He also said I have a high-motor like Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, but he is bigger and stronger.”
Williams hasn’t set a date to announce but he plans to do it between now and mid-May.
Go Cats.

LOL other schools recruiting against Calipari.. when will they learn..
Wish he’d wait. If Andrew Wiggins reclassifies to 2013, but UK already has Williams (and possibly the Harrison twins), that’s a crowd. And Wiggins is the real crown jewel of any class he’s a part of.
It’s probably not worth it to wait on Jabari Parker- he’s always seemed like a longshot for UK. Wiggins though, is already seen by many as coming down to UK or Fla St.
However it pans out, Cal has a better feel for it than I do, and Williams is certainly a talented player, along the same lines as MKG (though not quite at that level).
uk going down! when shabazz decides that ucla is not for him and decides to com to florida the sec is once again ours! same with noel he will come to fla after he gets out of his loa.
Reading into this… But are we taking a shot at this kid because we don’t feel well about Bennett… Just playing devil’s advocate!
^ squirrels are out early today
#4 This kid is 2013, Bennett is 2012. we will get Bennett.
@4 – wrong class – we are talking about 2013 not the current class…
not u jphelps meant for gaytor
bennett is for this coming year (12), williams is for the next year (13)
3. gator) That’s so cute. Now, time to go back to the asylum.
has bennett set a date for announcing his choice?
4- you are an idiot
3…you are insane and dreaming…FYVM…
3- you are too
#3 Hey gator, Aren’t you missing spring football practice? You are a football school (one of several in the SEC). We are THE basketball school in the SEC.
TROY WILLIAMS.. Y U NO LOOK LIKE HIGH SCHOOLER LOOK LIKE 45YR INMATE?
#3- I thought all the pills were supposed to be coming from FLA to KY; sounds like you kept a few too many for yourself. Parker would be the better catch, but we just can’t turn down a top five player only to take a chance on Parker choosing the Cats.
THERE’S ONLY ONE MKG!!!!!!!!!!
Aww lil gator. If you knew anything, you’d know Noel wouldn’t be allowed to transfer to another SEC school. He’d probably go to his second choice Georgetown if anything. Besides, neither is going to waste their time with transferring. They are going to bide their time for their one year and head off to NBA money. Florida isn’t much of an SEC powerhouse these days.
18 you would know what a “45YR INMATE” looks like…bc you most likely are one. Better hurry and comment more before your computer time runs out and it’s back to the cell for you!
meant 16 not 18.
Come on Drew! Get #16 out of here.
Nothing against Garrett as I really like the guy and he helped me get the gig to run Bluegrass Hoops. However if you will check my twitter account you can see I was the one to told it right after he tweeted it and he even retweeted me. I also done an interview with him earlier in the year, and he follows me on twitter.

Troy Williams… damn I thought it was a picture of Sam Cassell.
Hope his parents kept his birth certificate. The NCAA will want to see it.

Dude looks like he is 35 years old.
He came out in the same class as Morgan Freeman.
