UK Hoops gets a new assistant

It’ll be tough to replace Matt Insell on the UK women’s basketball sideline, but Matthew Mitchell found his guy to take the seat Insell left behind when he took the Ole Miss job.
Jeff House, a former WNBA assistant, has been named UK Hoops assistant coach, announced today by Mitchell. House comes to Lexington after 10 years in the professional ranks, including the last two seasons with the Chicago Sky. During House’s 27 years of coaching women’s basketball, he has coached 19 WNBA All-Stars and four Olympians. But above all that, he’s known as an excellent recruiter at the college level.
Welcome aboard.

Coach House has big shoes to fill. He may have coached longer than young Insell has been alive, BUTT, he better be connected with the travel teams, AAU etc.
