UK Hoops Finishes Second In The SEC

With a win over Auburn yesterday, the Kentucky women’s basketball team has finished second in the SEC behind Tennessee. Congratulations to the Lady Cats as they continue to build an exciting and consisten program in one of the leagues toughest conferences. With this record, the women have earned a 2 seed heading into the SEC tournament where they will face the winner of LSU and Alabama this Friday. Kentucky has already posted victories over both of those teams this year, and with a solid weekend performance could be headed towards a rematch with rival Tennessee in the finals, which would give us all an extra dose of Vol Hate this weekend.
Congrats to Matthew Mitchell and his Cats on a great regular season, and here’s to hoping they will keep it rolling into the post season.
Go Cats.

Congrats!!
Way to go ladies! We can hear you now!!!
Azubuike was released by the Knicks
Come on, really, the same picture again? The Dougie pic is old, how about one of the ladies in action actually playing basketball.
3) that sucks why would the knicks release him…he’s injured anyway
Vic sang on senior night, considering she is one of the top 5 players in the country right now, a pic of her on the court might make Go Deep happy. If we play the Vols again, it could be a bloody match like last year. A pic of Adia in the UT game last year would be good for that game!
5) so they could sign jared jeffries according to kentuckysportsonline
way to go uk hoops, i love how hard yall play keep it up its an inspiration to us all!!
The women will end up with a better regular season record with a lower rpi than the men and still get no love
Great year for the UK Hoops team! We are proud of you, good luck in the SEC and the NCAA!!! Bring home the championship!
I’ve said it before and am saying it again. So glad coach Mitchell has found major success at UK, you could not ask for a finer person to have as a coach. Have seen him spend up to an hour after games signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. Hard on the hoopsters, but loves them and you can tell.
