UK Football Buys Magazine Ad Space

BN9rX_PCUAER6Hj

UK Football is stepping up the marketing for its football product in major ways. The latest example is the decision to put the above ad in Sports Illustrated and Time Magazine this week. This ad ran in this week’s issue and while it may only be in the Kentucky area editions (not sure either way, but promoting the home schedule suggests as much), it is still an awesome example of reaching out and marketing UK football in new and exciting ways.

I am no English Prof, but shouldn’t that read, “A Nation Awakens?”

    Still looks cool.

Should have use a lineman in the photo. It’d look like Bama was awakening to a tea bagging.

Like it. Also 8, it does say “A Nation Awakes.” Just hard to see the “A.” Which they should think about touching up.

Thanks for that Number 8. As an English nerd, “Nation Awakes” was a problem. But, “A Nation Awakes” is a touch better. I still would rather “Awakens”, but they don’t ask me.

#9, Just saying, but if you’re going to correct a critique you might want to use proper punctuation and capitalization. Oh, one more thing, ‘at least’ isn’t a compound word. Do you write for KSR? 😉
