Meet Logan Fain, a 10-year-old boy who wears an above knee prosthesis. Louisville prosthetist Aaron Royster met Logan at the Endeavor Games in Edmond, Oklahoma, where Logan competed for the first time in the 60-meter, 100-yard dash and the 200-yard dash and earned a silver medal in each. According to Aaron, Logan’s a huge Kentucky fan and siad he’d be “shocked” to see his picture on KSR. Congrats, Logan, and go Cats.

— Another day, another “YAHTZEE!”. A few hours ago, UK got a commitment from 2016 lineman Landon Young from Lafayette High School. Young has played defensive end in the past, but at 6’7″ 250 lbs at only age 15, is being recruited as an offensive lineman. Welcome to the fam, Landon.

— Darrell Bird shared the news that Ashely Lowery has returned to UK’s campus after his horrific car accident last month. He’s still recovering, and there’s no timetable on his return to the field.

— There’s plenty of basketball going down in Charlottesville, Virginia this afternoon, as the NBAP Top 100 Camp rolls on. UK commit Karl Towns is expected to play this afternoon, but in the meantime, there are plenty of quotes about the Cats from the other recruits in attendance. Count 2014 PG Josh Perkins as another player waiting for an offer from Calipari. Perkins told the Herald-Leader’s Ben Roberts that he’d be open to playing with Emmanuel Mudiay and Rashad Vaughn in college, both of which have offers from the Cats. Expect plenty more 2014 recruiting chatter over the next two days.

— Is it bad that I’d rather talk about football recruiting right now? (Stoops syndrome?) How’s this for an exciting quote:

We have never seen anything like this from Kentucky, ever. I understand that it is only June, but I cannot remember that program having this kind of momentum in all my years covering recruiting. The class has added some tremendous playmakers, and they are getting guys from all over.”

That comes from Mike Farrell, Rivals’ National Recruiting Analyst. Plenty more where that came from here.

— Finally, this has been floating around social media for a while, but I just saw it and it made me laugh: The 20 WTF Glamour Shots the Internet Can’t Explain.

On today’s show, Matt and the gang finally found the Most Knowledgable Couple in UK Sports…or at least I think they did. The show cut out before a winner was officially named. See if you can answer Matt’s extremely difficult questions on today’s podcast.

For some reason the belly fat on the woman in pic 18 is turning me on… Not her face, just the belly fat that sits on her thighs.

I think it needs to be pointed out that Logan finished silver two races (60 meter and 100 meter) in which the winner, Cooper Blair, set national records!

So, it took record breaking performances to even defeat Logan on the track, the more I read, the more I love this kid!
