Its Lebron-mania as the world (but not me) gets ready to watch Stuart Scott and Lebron jabber about how they are going to go to Miami. I have always thought he would stay in Cleveland, but I guess not. Honestly either way, I dont care. Just bring on college football…

— I am hearing that the plan as of now is for Kentucky’s games in Canada to be on television in some markets around the Big Blue Network. As of now, the games should be on in Lexington, Eastern Kentucky, Bowling Green and Owensboro. It is still being worked out by the local affiliates for Louisville and Northern Kentucky. This decision is made by the local broadcasters, with the games having to pre-empt programming on Sunday and Monday night and Tuesday morning at 11 am. The plan is not done yet, but as of now I am told that is the hope. The games will be on the radio affiliates.

— The USA under 17 team keeps winning, with future Cats playing well. Marquis Teague and Michael Gilchrist did not start the games on the team and didnt put up big numbers early, but have started to come into their own. Gilchrist had 17 and 18 in the last two games and is showcasing his huge talent. The international game is different and some players (specifically UNC’s James McAdoo) have taken to it quickly. But all are playing well and one scout told Draft Express that it was the “most talented US team I have ever seen.” And of course Calipari is in Germany trying to turn that team into the future Big Blue.

— One has to start to feel for Daniel Orton as his struggles continue. Three games, never over four points, shooting ten percent from the field and racking up fouls. But there are things he can control even if he plays poorly, and grabbing zero rebounds in the last game and only three total in 54 minutes of action is simply unacceptable for a big man playing against the competition he is facing.

— And in news that should make us all breathe easier, John Wall told some outlets in Washington that he will continue the John Wall Dance. It lives on.

More all day…..
