We hope everyone out there had a Happy Halloween and are now ready for the beginning of the roundball season. Tonight the Cats open up against Campbellsville and we will be doing our Basketball Live Blog at 6:30 pm or so. I actually will not be at the game, due to law activities, thus preventing the blog from being ahead of the tv delay. And we can all make fun of the commercials together.
In addition, below you will once again see the First episode of Kentucky Sports Radio: The Podcast. I listened to it again last night and think that the fans will really like a lot of the stuff in it. Jeremy Jarmon, Woo and the KSR crew talking sports, but in a much different way than what you are used to. Give it a listen…and yes, by the NEXT show it will be on ITunes…but this one isnt yet.
Also, if you are interested in hosting the KSR Podcast in future weeks, please let me know. Over the course of the next couple of months, Gregg Doyel, Jeff Goodman, Alan Cutler, Tom Leach, Mike Pratt and a host of other surprise guests will be gracing the podcasts live in person. We want to do these in as many interesting places as possible. So if you own a restaurant, bar or other business and want us to come out…send us an email at [email protected] The same is true if you have a frat (or sorority) house or a good idea for a random place to be. If you are willing to host, we might be willing to come. Just email me and let me know.
Finally, if you have Halloween pictures, send them to [email protected] We want the best male and female pictures from places across the Commonwealth for the site.
And with that, listen to the podcast and give us your thoughts:
— Introductions and Jarmon/Woo talk about what they have been up to
— Breakdown of the Wall situation and story about Ramel on the road
— What Kentucky players really think about the local media
— Breaking down the basketball season, stories from Jarmon and Woo and their playing days (also there is a 20 second break after a few minutes due to a technical difficulty…dont turn it off or give up on it)
