UK Fan Takes “Free Enes” Fight to the White House

Many have tried to take a stand in the fight to Free Enes. A large group of you have bought t-shirts, painted signs or had your picture taken in front of the world’s monuments. But how many of you have thought about doing direct political activism? Well one Gary Hardin did. As you can see by this link on a roundup of letters written to the President, Hardin took the time to write President Obama and make his case for the use of pardon power to help one Enes Kanter. He suggests to Obama that if only he will take a minute to read up on Enes, the economy, war in Afghanistan and new Republican Congress will just be mere sidebars to righting the true wrong in the world…the treatment of one Enes Kanter.

Gary Hardin, we salute you. While in the future we might suggest that before you write the President, you spell check, the principle is nevertheless the same. We can never be a free people so long as Enes is not allowed to roam the basketball courts of our great nation.

NCAA and Enes Kanter

President Barack Obama

December 30, 2010

I voted for you Mr. President. Your actions have spoken loudly in all that you have accomplished. Please research the injustice being done by the NCAA and its actions against Enes Kanter. With all of the recent decisions it has made in favor of certain atheletes and Institutions, why does it seem it is persecuting this one Athelete who has tried to follow all the rules to be eleigible to play college basketball. Your support (knowing you are a b-ball fan) would be greatly appreciated. If you were to just spend a few mopments to read what has occured since March of this year and the NCAA recent decisions, you too SIR will feel the anger!

Thank You Sir for your action on this subject.

I love how Barrack Obama has absolutely zero jurisdiction on the matter. Just because he is the president doesn’t mean he can do anything. This is like asking your car insurance agent if your arm is broken…This young man that wrote Mr. Obama did not only waste his time, but proves the lack of intelligence in the common Kentuckian. Thank you for proving your idiocy and reinforcing a stereotype. You are obviously just a UK fan and not a student or alumnus due to your obvious stupidity. If you may be a UK student, then I, also a UK student, will HIGHLY consider transferring as this is obviously not the place where I can meet my full potential.

By the way, even if Obama felt strongly for your case and DID have jurisdiction in the issue, he still wouldn’t do anything. Not because he’s a HUGE North Carolina fan, but because he himself is an indecisive imbecile. Huckabee 2012.

There are many times I don’t spell correctly due to typos. There are times that I may spell incorrectly because I do not take the time to check a word that I am not sure about. If the worst thing I do is misspell some words or use incorrect grammar, I will be able to get a good night’s sleep. Anyone that thinks they know it all need to watch the Spelling bee on ESPN. Most would be put out before they ever got to the TV rounds. Before making fun of people, remember, No one person has all knowledge. I know it seems like everybody hates Obama, but we all need to come to grips with this reality: HE WON’T BE BEATEN IN 2012.

    2 main reasons why:

    1) Blacks still support him at an 87% clip. That is nearly impossible to overcome.

    2) There is not a Republican challenger strong enough to beat him. Don’t say Sarah Palin. She has the LEAST chance to beat him. Her negative rating is 50%, the highest of any republican politician.

He has not been a good President, but he just will NOT be beaten in 2012 unless he literally turns this country into the 3rd world. And that ain’t gonna happen.

#54-I don’t see him getting defeated either, but Bush 41 seemed pretty invincible 2 years into his term. In fact, SNL did a mildly funny skit c. early 1991 about Democrats trying to convince people to NOT nominate them for the 1992 election. Then, boom, 8 years of William Jefferson (Blythe) Clinton.

Wonder what would happen if Obama came out and said he “would not see, and would not accept the nomination of his party for another term as president?” Back in the 1800’s it was common to only seek 1 term. Seems silly to us now, but back then the executive had little power.

The Left and the Right whip out there quotes and statistics (which are mostly regurgitated from whatever radio talk show they listen to) and the mud starts flying! Love it! However, this President, like him or not, has stated his love for college basketball, filling out his brackets for the world to see. So, I think it is totally appropriate for a fan, UK or otherwise, to assume that he at least would be interested. Of course, nobody would expect him to ever do anything about it. it seems clear to me that a student athlete in college would have to know that selling their autographs or getting free use of luxury vehicles would violate a rule before a 16 year old would know the exact amount of money his family is allowed to receive towards his education.

but i suppose that makes too much sense for the ncaa.

Don’t fall for the “green” movement either. It’s all a joke. The planet will be here long after we’re gone. This place gets hit by asteroids and it still keeps on truckin’. We could do our worst and still couldn’t even scratch the surface of this planet. But hey, let’s all go buy electric cars so these green assholes can get rich just because some lobbyist says we’re hurting the planet. Change all those bad incandescent light bulbs because it’s destroying the planet! Spend billions so the White House can have solar panels even though it’s not a cost effective way of alternative energy. It’s all about getting rich and having power. These assholes intentionally create chaos and fear so people will flock to change so they can stay in power and get rich. Keep giving away little by little your individual freedoms until one day you wake up and they’re all gone and we’re no longer the United States of America but the National Socialist States of America.

This post will do nothing but make college basketball fans laugh at UK fans, who apparently think that a recruit who was paid will be made eligible by the President of the United States. Obama has plenty of other things to worry about, he doesn’t care about your sad story.

Enes is the only college player that made more money than Cam Newton.

    67) You are clueless. He’s destroyed the auto and banking industries and is in the process of destroying health care, and you sit there berating US? Wow.

I’d be more embarrassed by the very first sentence than the typo, “mopments.”
